Chandrashekhar Azad

Chandrashekhar Azad was born on 23rd July,1906,in Unnao,Uttarpradesh.His full name was Chandrashekhar Sitaram Tiwari (Azad).He was the son of Pandit Sita Ram Tiwari and Jagarani Devi.He was the first Indian Revolutionary who used his arms in the fight againt Britishers.He was an acitve participant of Gandhijis Non-Co-operation Movement.However the suspension of this movement made him more aggresive and he decided to commit himself to get complete independence by any means. He was betrayed by an informer on 27th February,1931.The police asked him to surrender and surrounded the Alfred Park of Allahabad to cathch Chandrashekhar Azad.Azad fought bravely with the policemen but caught shot in his...
