Kurt Cobain

Kurt Cobain was one of the icons of grunge and alternative rock music. Born to Donald and Wendy Cobain of Aberdeen, Washington on 20th February 1967, Kurt had a troubled childhood as his parents divorced when he was merely seven. Cobain along with bassist Krist Novoselic formed the American rock band Nirvana in 1987. Nirvana had a succession of drummers but Dave Grohl stayed the longest (from 1990 onwards). Nirvana's rough and distorted sound with the disturbing lyrics soon saw it sell millions of copies and topping the charts. The band found their major success with the album 'Nevermind' which had some unforgettable numbers like 'Smells like teen spirit', 'Come as you are', 'About a Girl' a...
