Steve Irwin

Stephen Robert Irwin, popularly known as Steve Irwin, was born on his mother’s birthday to Lyn and Bob Irwin in Melbourne, Australia. Steve Irwin was an Australian wildlife expert whose television series The Crocodile Hunter has been broadcast all over the world for years on end. Known all over the world as “The Crocodile Hunter”, Steve Irwin has left an indelible mark in the world of people who stand for animals.

Steve’s mother worked as a wildlife rehabilitator and his father is a wildlife expert. Married to Terri Raines – another animal activist hailing from USA – Steve Irwin co-owned and managed Australia Zoo, Beerwah, Queensland which was founded by his parents. Steve and Terri had two children – daughter Bindi Sue Irwin (born July 24, 1998) and son Robert Clarence Bob Irwin (born December 1, 2003). They are growing up in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents before them.
